Woodworking Clamp Information: Like
most tools, clamps come in numerous prices, styles and sizes;
choosing the one that suits your needs is a major factor.
Specs to be considered:
- Holding two
pieces of wood together to be screwed requires a clamp like
Quick-Grip
- A corner clamp is required for joining box edges
i.e. butt/Lap joints, mitered joints, dovetail joints, tongue
and groove, dado joints
- A
pipe clamp for joining biscuit-jointed boards, Mortise and Tenon,
doll rod joints used in fine furniture.
- The clamp of choice can be determined
by the amount of wood to be clamped together.
